The Department of Pharmacy Practice, Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy organized a one-day National Conference titled PCP PHARMACON ’25, sponsored by CSIR. The event aimed to explore the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in patient care.
The conference was inaugurated by Rev. Dr. Mathew Mazhavancheril, Director, Pushpagiri Medicity, and Dr. Santhosh M. Mathews, Principal, presidered over the ceremony. On this auspicious occasion a MoU was signed with Mar Thoma College, Thiruvalla to enhance academic and research collaborations.
It was followed by scientific sessions.
Dr. Arun K. P. (JSS College of Pharmacy, Ooty) Presented the topic “Digital Patient Twins: What-if Scenarios for Treatment Planning and Optimization” followed by
Dr. V. Sivakumar (PSG College of Pharmacy, Coimbatore) who presented “Advancing Pharmacy Practice with AI, Machine Learning, and Data Science”.
There were 25 Oral presentations. Cash prizes and certificates were awarded to the best presentations.
The event witnessed participation from 297 delegates (students and faculty from various institutions). The conference emphasized the importance of AI integration in modern pharmacy education and research.
