Department of Pharmacy Practice and IQAC of Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy , in association with the Vimukthi Committee, Excise Department, Thiruvalla, and Health Department, organized a “World No Tobacco Day* awareness programme at Taluk Hospital, Thiruvalla, on 30th May 2026. The programme included a tobacco-free pledge, awareness rally, flash mob, awareness class presented by Second Year Pharm D students. Dr. Malini S., Head of the Department of Pharmacy Practice, and Mrs. Archana Vijai , Vimukthi Coordinator, actively participated and coordinated the programme. The event was inaugurated by Smt.Lekha,Tiruvalla Muncipal Chairperson and presided by Dr. Biju B A, Superintendent, Taluk Hospital,Thiruvalla.Mr .Rajendran K ,Excise Circle Inspector, Anu Prasad S,Mr.. Rafeek R ,Civil Excise Officer, Mrs. Rema Devi,Vimukthi Pathanamthitta Coordinator,Mrs.Laly Thomas , Nursing Superintendent, and Dr.Anju Ann George were spoke on this occasion.Mrs.Archana Vijay, Vimukthi Coordinator,Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy delivered the vote of thanks.
