As part of the NATIONAL PHARMACY WEEK CELEBRATION 2025, Department of Pharmacy Practice organized Anemia Mukt Bharat Initiative on 20/11/2025.
The programme was conducted successfully with enthusiastic participation from the students. Hemoglobin screening was carried out in the morning session, and the afternoon session was enriched by the presence of the British Biologicals team. Dietician,Ms. Sana Fathima Salam, delivered an informative awareness talk on Anemia and PCOS. The British Biologicals Pvt. Ltd. team included Mr. Anil Sekhar, State Business Head – Kerala, Mr. Anil Kumar, Business Officer – Kottayam, Mr. Anuraj B, Business officer Thiruvalla were also represented the organization.

Dr. Malini S, HOD & Vice Principal (Administration ) welcomed the gathering, and Mrs. Rani Manju, Associate Professor proposed the vote of thanks.
Students were provided with taste campaign and a diet chart was distributed to all students to guide them on maintaining a nutritious diet to prevent anemia.
Overall, the program successfully promoted health consciousness on campus and strengthened the role of the Department of Pharmacy Practice in health initiatives.
