Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy organized a Disaster Management Activity on 18th August 2026 under the leadership of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) with the active participation of students and faculty members. As part of the initiative, disinfectants were distributed to flood-affected families of Wards 5 and 6 of Peringara Grama Panchayat.
The programme was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Santhosh M. Mathews, Principal, Pushpagiri College of Pharmacy, by handing over the disinfectant to Mr. Roy Varghese, Ward 5 Member, Peringara Grama Panchayat. Mrs. Eliamma, Ward 6 Member, conveyed her felicitations on the occasion.The initiative reflected the institution’s social responsibility and commitment to disaster preparedness, providing timely support to flood-affected families and contributing to the promotion of community health and sanitation.The programme was coordinated by Mrs. Sumi James, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacology.
